Spring Break Trip to Captiva Island, FL

Olivia and mom riding the trolley to the pool.
Olivia playing with a noodle in the pool. Liv was our little fish on this trip - we couldn't get her out of the water other than lunch time where she could refuel.

 Sitting atop an alligator.
Liv was so happy to be away from the cold weather in Chicago and hanging out in her suit all day long.

Testing out the water on our first day at the pool.

Hudson brought along Buzz for some company at the pool.

One of Hudson's favorite activities at the pool was playing in the water fountains that shot into the pool. We loved to put our head in them and wash our hair and also step on them and watch the water disappear.
Washing our hair in the fountain.

Hudson sleeping side-to-side in his big boy bed. This was his first adventure sleeping in a big bed instead of a crib. Some days were better than others:)

Hudson and Mike at the Ft. Myers airport on our way home. We were all very sad to leave the 85 degree weather and sunshine.
Olivia all laced up and ready for another afternoon on the ice.

Liv became quite the ice skater this winter season - by the end of March she was skating all by herself with no props to help her around the ice. She tells us that she now wants to be a "ballerina on the ice."
Olivia and Hudson outside in the snow with our snowman.

Olivia all dressed up and ready for the Princess Ball with her dad.

Olivia's 5th Birthday

Olivia and her friends before we headed downtown to the American Girl Cafe.

Lily brought her doll, Samantha, along for some pink lemonade and birthday cake.

Olivia celebrated her 5th birthday with a tea party at the American Girl Cafe. She invited a few of her classmates and her cousin, Lily, to the festivities and each girl was asked to bring along a doll.
